Pennsylvania:  Explosive Device Damages Business

On 16 October 2017 at approximately 2230 hours local time, the Pittsburgh Fire Department (PFD) responded to calls of a fire alarm sounding at a local business in Pittsburgh. Upon arrival, PFD determined that there was no fire. At approximately 2330 hours local time, PFD responded to a second call at the same location; this time there was smoke, and damage to a door and the ceiling above it. Arson investigators and the bomb squad investigated the scene, and determined that an explosive device detonated. No one was injured. An investigation is ongoing.
