Texas:  Explosives Discovered in Apartment

On 30 September 2017 at approximately 2100 hours local time, East El Paso Police Department (EEPPD) officers responded to a call to an apartment complex, after military service personnel discovered several explosives. Military staff were at the apartment for unspecified “military personnel matters.” It is unclear if the apartment’s tenant was member of the military. The type and number of explosives is currently unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
