Missouri: Suspicious Package Taped to SUV Rendered Safe

On 21 September 2017, the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) and Kansas City Fire Department (KCFD) responded to a report of a suspicious package under an SUV parked in a local resident’s driveway. Upon arrival, officers found the package that was taped underneath the vehicle and requested Bomb and Arson Unit support. The Bomb and Arson Unit rendered safe the device and collected materials as evidence. No one was injured in the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
