New Jersey: Associated Components and Weapons Discovered in Private Residence

On 5 August 2019 at approximately 1000 hours local time, the Clark Police Department received a call from a man warning that police presence was going to be needed at his residence later that day. Emergency responders arrived at the home and found it empty. A search of the home revealed associated components, including unidentified chemicals that could be used to manufacture IEDs, 12 long guns, 3 handguns, ammunition, and pyrotechnics. A 52-year-old male suspect is in custody and has been identified as the caller. The investigation is ongoing.
