West Virginia: BMM Discovered in Private Residence

On 20 January 2020, deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office discovered bomb-making materials (BMM), including a PVC-style pipe with a closed end cap that contained unmixed binary explosives and two electric blasting caps, while conducting a drug raid at the residence of a Jackson County man. Deputies also found drugs and firearms in the home. The man was arrested and charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and other charges are pending.
