Oregon: Explosive Device Functions at Bus Stop

On 28 June 2020 at approximately 1716 hours local time, Portland Police Bureau officers responded to a reported explosion after an explosive device functioned at a bus stop in southeast Portland. No injuries were reported, and the bus stop sustained minor cosmetic damage. Investigators arrested one suspect at the scene who they believe left the device concealed in a backpack at the bus stop. Investigators did not release any device details or information on the suspect.
