United Kingdom: IID Damages Home

On 31 August 2020, at approximately 0035 hours local time, the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service responded after an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a petrol bomb, was thrown at the rear window of a house in Antrim, Northern Ireland. Two people were inside the home during the incident, but no injuries occurred. The home’s outside wall and the window’s outer pane were damaged. The investigation is ongoing.
