On 27 October 2020, at approximately 0700 hours local time, officers from the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) and members of the PPD Bomb Squad responded after an explosive device, described as an M-80, was discovered inside a plastic shopping bag outside a residence. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
