On 19 December 2020, Nigerian Security officials responded to the town of Konduga after a women worked her way into a crowded area and detonated her person-borne IED (PBIED). The explosion killed 3 and injured 7 others. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The investigation is ongoing.
