On 30 January 2021, Windsor Police Service officers responded to a restaurant near downtown Windsor for a structure fire of suspicious origin. Using surveillance footage, authorities determined an unknown suspect threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a Molotov cocktail, through the restaurant’s window. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
