On 19 April 2021, Hubbard Township Police Department (HTPD) officers responded to a private residence on a burglary call, where they initially found two IEDs. A subsequent search of the property led to the discovery of approximately 100 other IEDs, along with “items including containers and black powder.” The Youngstown Bomb Squad and the ATF responded to assist, and bomb squad technicians rendered the devices safe. One male suspect was arrested by HTPD officers, while a second female suspect is at large. The investigation is ongoing.
