Australia: IIDs Thrown at Restaurant

On 22 June 2022, at approximately 0350 hours local time, South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service crews responded to a restaurant in Port Noarlunga after unknown suspects threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, at the property, causing minor damage. No further device details have been released and no injuries were reported. Authorities also discovered a flare which had been used in an attempt to light a fire. The investigation is ongoing.
