On 16 September 2022, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies responded to a residence near Rawling Drive after a suspect threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as consisting of a bottle, drain cleaner, and tinfoil, at the home on two occasions during the same evening. During the investigation, HCSO found additional IIDs in the area, secured them, and removed them. No injuries or damage was reported. A 30-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged with arson, unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance, illegal manufacturing or possessing explosives, and menacing by stalking.
