Alabama: Device Discovered in Residence, 1 Arrested

On 12 October 2022, Etowah County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence on North Oak Road and discovered a male suspect with a destructive device in his possession. No further device details have been released. According to authorities, a neighbor reported seeing the suspect enter the residence that was not his before calling police. Gadsden Bomb Squad technicians responded to assist. The 30-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a destructive device, burglary, and theft. The investigation is ongoing.
