On 3 November 2022, at approximately 1336 hours local time, New Hampshire State Police (NHSP) troopers and Salisbury Fire and Rescue Department (SFRD) crews responded to Hensmith Road after an IED, described as a homemade PVC pipe bomb, functioned starting a brush fire. No further device details were provided. Fire crews and nearby residents extinguished the fire, and no further damage or injuries were reported. NHSP Bomb Squad technicians and ATF agents responded to assist, conducted a post-blast analysis of the scene, and recovered IED remnants. The incident remains under investigation.
