Romania: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

TRIPwire, 18 November 2022 On 18 November 2022, at approximately 0315 hours local time, unidentified suspects used explosives to target an ATM in a building that also serves as the local police headquarters in Castelu, Constanța County, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The blast destroyed the ATM and damaged the building housing it. No injuries were reported, and no further details about the explosives were released. The investigation is ongoing.
