Ohio: Ordnance Discovered in Residence After School Shooting Threat

TRIPwire, 22 November 2022 On 21 November 2022, FBI agents arrested a 21-year-old male suspect at his residence in Washington Township after he posted videos online threatening to attack Washington Middle School in California. During a search of the suspect’s home, FBI agents seized a grenade that had been tampered with, eight firearms, two homemade suppressors, and two laptop computers. Dayton Bomb Squad technicians responded to assist and relocated the grenade to a nearby fire station where it was rendered safe. No further device details have been released. The suspect was charged with making interstate threats and the investigation is ongoing.
