Texas: IID Used to Target Business

On 20 May 2023, Galena Park Police Department officers responded to a vape shop on Clinton Drive after two unidentified suspects walked into the store and threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a Molotov cocktail, inside the store, setting it ablaze. An employee managed to escape unharmed, but the store sustained extensive damage and lost about $100,000 in products. No further device details have been released. The Harris County Fire Marshal and ATF are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
