Germany: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

TRIPwire, 5 June 2023 On 5 June 2023, at approximately 0230 hours local time, unknown suspects used explosives to attack an ATM at a bank in Hasborn, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. The blast destroyed the ATM and damaged the building housing it. No further details about the explosives have been released, and it is unclear whether any money was stolen. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
