The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Bomb Squad responded to assist and removed the device. THPD officers arrested a 50-year-old male suspect after tracing purchases of the bomb-making material (BMM) used in the device and receiving several tips on social media. A search of the suspect’s house found a receipt for the BMM and an empty box of .22 caliber ammunition. The suspect has been charged with possession of a destructive device and attempted arson.
