Greece: Unknown Attackers Throw Explosive Device at Russian Consulate in Athens

On 22 March 2019, unknown individuals on a motorcycle threw an explosive device at the Russian consulate in Athens before fleeing the scene. A police spokesperson told press that the device may have been a hand grenade based on the size of the explosion. No injuries were reported, and no group claimed responsibility for the attack.
