This Day in History

On 24 April 2006, three explosive devices were hidden in bags in Dahab, Egypt.  The first two explosions occurred in front of a bar and cafeteria while the third occurred in front of a supermarket.  The three blasts left 18 people dead and 87 others wounded.  The fugitive terrorist leader Nasr Khamis al-Malahi, who also carried out attacks in Taba and Sharm al-Shaykh, was responsible for the attack.
