North Carolina: IID Thrown at Residence, 2 Arrested

On 28 March 2024, two suspects were arrested by local authorities for throwing an improvised incendiary device (IID) described as a Molotov cocktail at a residence in Fuquay-Varina. The IID was described as a glass bottle with cotton tips that was filled with gasoline. The residence sustained no structural damage, and no injuries were reported. The suspects are charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction, damage to occupied property by use of an explosive, and conspiracy.
