California: Pipe Bomb Discovered in Stolen Vehicle

On 14 November 2022, at approximately 2203 hours local time, Redding Police Department officers located and searched a disabled stolen vehicle on Pine Street and discovered a pipe bomb inside a tool bag. The Shasta County and Butte County bomb squad units responded to assist and rendered the device safe. No further device details were provided. The 58-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possessing stolen property and being in possession of an explosive device.

Italy: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

On 15 November 2022, Stradella Carabinieri responded to a bank on Via Cesare Battisti after two unknown suspects used explosives to attack the ATM and fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash. According to authorities, surveillance video footage showed two masked suspects placing explosives in the ATM slot. No further details about the explosives have been released. The ATM sustained moderate damage due to the explosion. The incident remains under investigation.
