On 9 February 2023, at approximately 0200 hours local time, local authorities responded to a residence Amsterdam West after an explosive device functioned outside the front door, causing damage to the front of the home. No injuries were reported. Explosive material found at the scene was removed for further investigation.

Germany: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

On 9 February 2023, at approximately 0257 hours local time, unknown suspects used explosives to attack a bank ATM in Bad Sachsa in southern Harz, before fleeing the scene. No further details about the explosives have been released. The ATM was destroyed and the bank building sustained extensive damage, but no injuries were reported. On 8 February 2023, at approximately 0500 hours local time, local police responded to a residence on Riederlaan in Rotterdam-Feijenoord after an explosive device functioned outside the home, causing extensive damage to the facade and the surrounding buildings. No injuries were reported. According to media reporting, a long white rope, believed to be a fuse for the explosive, was discovered at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
