Ireland: IID Starts Fire at Residence, 1 Injured
On 22 September 2024, at approximately 2150 hours local time, Gardai and Limerick City and County Fire and Rescue Service crews responded to a fire at a residence on Pike Avenue in Garryowen, Limerick. Authorities believe that the fire was ignited by an IID described as a petrol bomb. A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after he jumped from a second story window. The fire caused significant damage to the property. The investigation is ongoing.
