Local firefighters arrived at the scene to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported, but the attack caused damage to the toll booth. No further device details have been released. On 9 March 2023, at approximately 0430 hours local time, Toledo Police Department officers responded to Freeman Street after unknown suspects threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a Molotov cocktail, in between two residences starting a fire, and shot at residents when they went outside their homes to put out the fire. No further device details have been released, and no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.
