On 2 April 2023, at approximately 0200 hours local time, Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office (LCCSO) deputies responded to a Law and Justice Center on Fuller Avenue after an unidentified suspect threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a Molotov cocktail, at an LCCSO vehicle. No further device details have been released and no injuries were reported. Surveillance footage captured a male throwing the IID at the vehicle and using a crowbar to beat the passenger door. ATF responded to assist in the ongoing investigation.

On 5 April 2023, at approximately 0400 hours local time, police responded to Zenonos Street in Limassol’s Agia Triada area after an IED, emplaced in a building lobby, functioned causing damage to the building and to two cars nearby. On 3 April 2023, Long Beach City Police Department officers and Biloxi Bomb Squad technicians responded after a Long Beach resident picking up trash on the beach found a military ordnance, described as a marine signal flare containing red phosphorus. Bomb squad technicians used sand and water to stabilize the ordnance before removing it from the beach for offsite disposal.

On 31 March 2023, at approximately 0130 hours local time, local police responded after unidentified suspects used explosives to attack an ATM inside a gas station building in Makgofe and two other ATMs outside the building. The suspects fled the scene with an unknown amount of money. No further details about the explosives have been released. The explosion destroyed the three ATMs and caused significant damage to the store and a vehicle parked near the ATMs, but no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.
