Argentina: IIDs Thrown at Residence

On 8 March 2023, at approximately 0600 hours local time, Civil Defense personnel and firefighters from the Alberdi Barracks responded to a residence in Bahía Blanca in Buenos Aires Province after an unknown suspect threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, at a window starting a fire. No further device details have been released. The fire caused severe damage to the window, but no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.

Somalia: VBIED Functioned at Military Base, 7 Killed

Italy: Explosive Device Functioned in an ATM Attack

On 6 March 2023, at approximately 0300 hours local time, Carabinieri from the Badia al Pino station and personnel from the Arezzo investigative unit responded after three masked suspects used explosives to attack a bank ATM in Pieve al Toppo, Arezzo province, and fled the scene with an estimated 20,000 euros [~$21,329]. No further details about the explosives have been released. The explosion destroyed the ATM and scattered debris on the sidewalk, but no injuries were reported. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage in the ongoing investigation.

Louisiana: Pipe Bomb Being Constructed Injures Juvenile
