New York: 2 Suspects Arrested After IEDs Found in Apartment

On 17 January 2024, New York City Police Department officers found 8 IEDs, 6 ghost guns, 600 rounds of ammunition, pyrotechnics, bomb-making instructions, and 3D printers while searching an apartment in Queens. One device was described as a “partially constructed IED rigged with a tripwire,” and a photo released of four IEDs depicts them as soda can-size cylindrical devices covered in tape with green fuses. Two brothers were taken into custody on 29 January and indicted on 130 counts of criminal possession of a weapon and related charges.
